M1504 four-head flat embroidery: setup checks for repeat designs
2026-11-01
For a design repeated across several products, head count is only part of machine selection. Sample consistency, hooping and the agreed design revision also matter. This article uses authorised M1504 footage from the shared media library to connect the four-head machine layout and multicolour flat-embroidery close-ups with practical repeat-order preparation.
Watch the M1504 flat-embroidery demonstration
The source filename and opening title identify M1504. The wide view shows four heads, followed by close-ups of multicolour designs on flat material. This approximately 44-second web version keeps the original playback speed, is compressed for web delivery and has no audio track. The machine’s appearance and proportions have not been redrawn.
Specification and feature captions belong to the original recording; they are not a commitment about the current supplied version. Check current specifications against the latest pricing information, then confirm configuration, accessories and usable hoop area in the written order.

The four working positions
The wide shot shows four heads arranged horizontally and their relationship to the working area and control screen. For your products, discuss material dimensions, how fabric is spread, and clearance for hooping and removal. A demonstration on flat material does not establish that every finished garment or shaped product can use the same setup.
Multicolour design detail
The later close-up shows several colours and local design areas. To discuss similar work, provide the original artwork, target dimensions, colour sequence and actual material, rather than only a finished-picture reference. The visible result belongs to that demonstration; it does not guarantee the same result on another design or fabric.
A repeat-order preparation checklist
| Check | What to record | Problem to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Design revision | Filename, revision date and target dimensions, linked to the approved sample. | Mixing an old file into a repeat order. |
| Colour arrangement | Written colour requirements and thread assignments, checked before starting. | Choosing actual thread only from a screen preview. |
| Hooping orientation | Face, direction, placement references and chosen hoop. | Different orientation or reference points between pieces. |
| Material and support | The actual fabric and sampling conditions; reassess changes first. | Applying a sample result from a different material without checking. |
| Quantity and changeovers | Quantity per design, colour changes and required dates. | Judging multi-head suitability only from total quantity. |
| Initial checks | Actual placement, appearance and visible differences between pieces, with a traceable sample record. | Approving a batch from one close-up alone. |
Does a four-head setup fit your order mix?
Break the work into pieces per design, changeover frequency, material consistency and hooping needs. Repeated designs are a useful starting point for discussing preparation across multiple working positions. Frequent design or product changes also deserve a comparison with a single-head workflow. Four heads do not automatically deliver four times a single-head machine’s daily output: preparation, handling, changeovers and inspection remain part of the job.
Use our mixed-order worksheet to describe your work, then compare the single-head and multi-head selection guide. We do not convert this short clip into job times or output promises.
