C1501M cap embroidery: actual footage and pre-order checklist
2026-10-26
Choosing a machine for cap embroidery requires more than comparing its flat embroidery area. The cap construction, design position, hooping method and attachments all need a separate check. This guide uses confirmed C1501M footage to explain what to discuss before ordering.
Watch the C1501M cap-embroidery footage
This 18-second excerpt shows the complete machine, head and a cap-embroidery setup at the original playback speed. The equipment and cap shown represent that demonstration. Whether cap attachments are included must be stated in the agreed supply list.
The same actual-machine footage appears in our C1501M machine introduction. This article focuses on cap-project requirements rather than repeating the full machine overview.
Four requirements to confirm first
| Requirement | What to share | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Cap construction | Front, side and inside photos; describe stiffening and prominent seams | Assess hooping clearance and the intended location |
| Design position | A marked photo showing the front, side or other location | Evaluate each position separately instead of assuming all are covered by one demonstration |
| Design dimensions and file | Actual width and height, colour requirements and an embroidery file if available | Check the usable area of the specific hoop and configuration |
| Order plan | Quantity per design, changeover frequency, delivery goal and destination | Discuss sampling, configuration and shipping |
The 400 × 600 mm area is not a cap-embroidery area
The latest C1501M information lists a nominal machine embroidery area of 400 × 600 mm. Do not use that figure as the available design size on a cap. Cap hoop, drive attachment, construction and design position require their own assessment.
If the design crosses a seam, the cap is thick or the position is close to an edge, include clear photos in your enquiry and discuss a sample that matches the intended order conditions.
What should you check in a sample?
Agree on the sample-review criteria in writing: whether the placement is correct, the appearance meets your requirements, seam areas show noticeable changes, and results across the reviewed samples are acceptable. Use the cap and design intended for your order rather than relying only on a demonstration video.
Record material, backing, needle and thread, and digitising requirements for later reference. Footage alone does not establish suitability for every cap type or daily production output.
Put cap attachments in the supply list
Confirm the names, quantities and compatible models of cap frames, cap-drive attachments, hooping aids and any other required accessories. If a component is visible in the demonstration but absent from the quotation, clarify it before payment. Demonstration equipment should not be assumed to be standard supply.
Frequently asked questions
Does the demonstration mean my cap can be embroidered?
Your cap construction, design and position still need checking. Share photos and dimensions first; use actual caps for sampling where needed.
Are cap attachments included in the machine price?
The final configuration and supply list determine what is included. State your cap-embroidery requirements and ask for the relevant attachments to be itemised.
Can I submit an order before freight is confirmed?
Yes. Add the machine to your cart and submit a request. We then confirm the configuration, accessories, destination and freight, agree the total and send a payment link. Unconfirmed freight is not treated as free shipping.
Share your cap project to check the configuration
Prepare cap photos, design dimensions, expected quantity, destination country and postal code. Confirm power requirements, accessories and support in the order. Electronic controls have a one-year warranty, with handling governed by the agreed order terms.
